A 58 year old female had been
vomiting since 6.30am,
at 9am she had then developed central chest pain.
This was associated with perfuse
sweating, and pain radiating to both arms.
This was similar to previous angina
but far worse, heavy in nature. She had had a stent fitted to the
circumflex artery 10 days ago.
She had not experienced any pain
since having the stent fitted.
GTN and morphine given by the
ambulance crew had provided some relief, but was still in 7/10 pain.

A 79 year old male presenting with abdominal pain
Observations:
Pulse 110, BP 112/59, Resp rate 48
He had been unwell for about a week, and had been
vomiting, had increasing shortness of breath, looked cyanosed.
He looked cachectic, and his abdomen looked mottled

A 46 year old presents
to his GP with a 2 week history of intermittent chest pain. He explained
that it had become continuous since 10 am yesterday.
Has had no previous
health problems, and he considers himself fit and active.
He has never smoked.
There is a family history of IHD, as he had an older brother who had an
MI at 36, and sadly died last year at aged 54 following a second heart
attack.
He is slightly overweight and
has an office job which is fairly sedentary work

Emergency following 2 hours of chest pain.
It was sharp in nature and she had a productive
